Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is located in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, Australia.

Skyrail’s Caravonica Terminal is located at the corner of Cairns Western Arterial Road and Cook Highway, Smithfield, just 15 minutes drive north of Cairns city and 50 minutes south of Port Douglas.

The Caravonica Terminal is accessible by:

• Skyrail Coach Transfer: Skyrail operates a regular coach transfer pick-up & drop-off service in the Cairns, the Cairns’ northern beaches (excluding Holloways & Machans Beaches) and Port Douglas areas. The coach service will collect and deliver you to your individual hotel – contact our Skyrail Reservations to confirm an exact pick-up time.
• Self-Drive: If you wish to drive Skyrail please visit our Self Drive Information section which includes downloadable Skyrail Self-Drive map with detailed directions and distances from Cairns and Port Douglas areas.

A Special Note For Self-Drive Guests

Self-Drive guests taking the Skyrail Experience including the Kuranda Scenic Railway, and departing for Kuranda via the Kuranda Scenic Railway, your departure point will be at Freshwater Train Station (not Cairns Central Train Station).
