At Skyrail, we pride ourselves on our high standards of safety and reliability.

To maintain these high standards, it is necessary to undertake programmed preventative maintenance works from time to time. Sometimes these works require the closure of the cableway for a short period of time.

Please note: Skyrail has confirmed the following programmed preventative maintenance works to take place in early and mid 2009. These works will require the cableway to be closed for short periods of time: for more information, please see below.

In 2009, Skyrail will be closed on the following dates: February: Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th and Monday 16th April: Monday 27th May: Monday 11th, Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June: Monday 1st, Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd August: Monday 31st September: Monday 14th

Please note that these closure dates have been selected in careful consideration of visitor trends across the year, and have been chosen to minimise disruption to our clients, whilst coinciding with the availability of the specialist equipment and international expertise required to complete the works.

Please note that Skyrail's Reservations Department will continue to operate as normal on these days.
