Return Experience

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway takes you on an amazing experience over Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest.

Your Skyrail experience from Caravonica to Kuranda should take approximately 1 ½ hours, this includes spending time at the two rainforest mid-stations.

Allow 20 minutes for each station, to enjoy Ranger guided boardwalk tours and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre, lookouts and historical displays.

The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Return Experience includes time for you to explore Kuranda ‘The Village in the Rainforest’. There are rainforest walks, markets, cafes, restaurants, and galleries for you to visit.

Timing

A Return Skyrail Experience for Self Drivers can be enjoyed as a ½ day tour.

A Return Skyrail Experience including transfers is a full day tour with morning departures. Times will be offered during the booking process.

Transfers

  • Self Drive: If you have your own vehicle, or are using public transport, then you will not require transfers from your accommodation.
  • Other: If you do not have your own means of transport, then we recommend booking Skyrail / accommodation coach transfers. The transfer service is available for Cairns city, most Cairns beaches and Port Douglas locations. Times will be offered during the booking process.
