Interpretive Ranger Option

Skyrail’s qualified Rangers meet, greet and accompany your group (we recommend a ratio of 1:20 Ranger to guests) on a personalised tour of Australia’s Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway experience.

At Red Peak, groups are escorted through the ancient rainforest to learn about some of the unique flora and fauna and the never ending ‘fight for the light’.

At Barron Falls, groups are accompanied to The Edge Lookout for unimpeded panoramic views of the majestic waterfall and gorge and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre.

Sustainability Seminar

Multiple winner of the Qantas Award for Excellence in Sustainable Tourism, Skyrail has been positioned as a world leader in sustainable business practices and aims to educate and inspire seminar participants about the benefits of these practices.

Presented by a Skyrail Ranger or senior manager, the seminar is a 40 minute informative discussion about Skyrail’s sustainability vision and its continual improvements made since inception.
